Kate has worn these light blue and gold earrings a couple of times in public. I like the contrast of pale blue and gold, and they’re small enough to wear with many different outfits without overshadowing the whole ensemble. It adds a nice complement to light blue ensembles.
From the website: “The original Kate Middleton earring. These Athena drop stud earrings were worn by The Duchess on numerous occasions and come in a variety of colours and sizes. Total height 2.4cm. Disc size 8mm with 24kt gold finish. Stone dimension appx 6mm x 11mm. Available in a variety of gemstone colours.”
The other available stones are amethyst, smoky quartz, lapis, green chalcedony, pink chalcedony, lemon quartz and black onyx.
These post earrings consist of a gold plated hammered disc from which a wire wrapped aqua chalchedony is suspended. The stone hangs below the earlobe.
Kate wore these to a wedding in 2012.
She also wore them in Tuvalu in 2012.
The cost of these is £25 or $40.
I think these are beautiful earrings and I hope to see Kate wearing them again.
