These are the earrings that launched a small jewelry company into the spotlight.
From the website: “This picture really doesn’t show just how beautiful these resin pearl and diamond CZ pearl drop earrings really are – especially for bridal wear or on the balcony at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. As a result they’ve suddenly proved…rather popular!
The graduated ‘diamond’ stones form the total length of these wonderful earrings at approx 30mm, including the 9mm pearl. They really are lovely – very popular with brides, and we always feel honoured to be represented at such an important occasion!”
It should be noted that these are not real pearls. Any pearl not coated in nacre is an artificial pearl.
It comes in two sizes: 9mm and 11mm. It looks Kate is wearing the 9mm.
The earrings are made of three cubic zirconia studs set in silver and attached by silver links. At the bottom is a silver cap to which a resin pearl is attached.
Kate made the whole world aware of Heavenly Necklaces when she wore these to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
She also wore them to the viewing of her wedding dress at Buckingham Palace in July 2011.
These retail for £58 or $90.
