Kate added a third pair of Kiki McDonough Cushion drops to her earring collection when she wore these pink morganite ones to Commonwealth Day Church Service in March 2015.
From the website: “Two looks in one make these earrings an irresistible buy; featuring a subtle and very pretty pale pink morganite cushion drop on an elegant 18ct white gold and diamond tapered hoop. Build your collection of Kiki drops; they all fit on the same gold or diamond hoops”
.They’re simple cushion cut drops made of pink morganite and connected to a white gold hoop.
Here they are on Kate:
I speculate that these might be a Christmas or birthday gift (her birthday is in January). They would have been perfect with her hot pink Mulberry coat that was worn to the 9/11 Memorial during her and William’s December trip to NYC. She wore the green amethyst version of these earrings with that coat. I’m sure she would have worn these earrings had they been in her possession.
Here is the closeup:
She wore them to the Brookhill Children’s Centre in March 2015.
And (finally!) with the bright pink Mulberry coat to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust engagement in March 2015.
These are priced at £3,400 or $5,385.
They are rather expensive because these come with the diamond hoops. I don’t see a shopping option which allows one to purchase the drops alone (at least not at the moment).
