Shopping with Kate: Heavenly Necklaces Haul I

I’m really excited to share with you my first purchase from Heavenly Necklaces. Even if Kate had never worn their pearl and diamond earrings, I would still be drawn in by their gorgeous merchandise.

The package shipped rather quickly. The estimated delivery time for international addresses is about 2-3 weeks. Mine took a little less than 2 weeks.

It arrived in a small plastic mailing bag. The jewelry was nicely wrapped in black tissue paper and was taped shut with a Heavenly Necklaces logo label. Each piece was placed in a black drawstring bag, and each bag was wrapped in bubble wrap. Inside each drawstring bag the jewelry item was wrapped very securely in black tissue paper. I’m pleased with this because it’s a more environmentally friendly method of packaging (I never know what to do with tiny cardboard jewelry boxes).

The Fine Eternity Ring

ring

I am not married nor do I plan on getting married, but I do love the look of diamond eternity bands. It’s such a simple yet stunning way to add sparkle to one’s finger. I noticed this one was marked down by 15%, so I decided to get it.

It fits my middle finger.

You can better see the pretty sparkle of it here:

And here they are on my Zales huggie hoops (mentioned here):

And here are the famous “pearl and diamond” earrings, owned by both Kate and the Countess of Wessex.

I ordered the Medium size (9mm). I photographed these in the Zales box because it was hard to get a decent photo by simply laying them on the surface. You couldn’t see the front of the earring. These don’t come with any box, in case you’re wondering.

I wasn’t sure if I should get these at first. I didn’t know if they would suit me. I’m so happy I decided to get them because they really are amazing and versatile. I can wear them with pretty much any outfit, and depending on how little or much jewelry I wear they can go with casual or dressy outfits. They’re beautiful and I can see why Kate chose them. ūüôā

I am really delighted with my order. I will definitely be buying more from Heavenly Necklaces.

Three Point Jade Bead Gold Earrings

I found one photo of Kate wearing these cute dangle earrings.

She was attending a social event sometime in 2008.

A large gold piece studded with green stones/beads acts as the earring’s post. Dangling from this is a tri-point elongated gold piece with cut-out, elaborate designs etched into it. From each point there hangs a green bead or stone. These could be jade but I’m not sure.

If anyone can locate the maker of these or a similar pair, please contact me.

RepliKate for Kiki McDonough Yellow Gold and Diamond Hoops

I love Kate’s diamond and gold huggie hoops, but they’re out of my budget at the moment.

I have been searching high and low for a decent repliKate of them.

I found one at Zales.

Here they are:

They are a little slimmer than Kiki’s.

I think these can work for detachable drop pendants. I have ordered a set of amethyst drops to wear with these. The hoops feel sturdy and solid.

The Zales version is made of 10K gold and real diamonds. I paid just about $150 (after discounts) for mine.

Here is where you can buy them.

Seretta Red Sponge Coral and Gold Earrings

Kate wore these earrings during the Singapore tour in 2012.

From the website: “Lipstick Red Sponge Coral Earrings accented with a Rolled Gold chain tassel and Gold Vermeil hoops. As recently worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.”

They consist of a long gold tassel which dangles next to a pear-shaped coral drop. The earrings is attached to a French wire.

Here they are on Kate:

This was her full look for the night:

It looks like the cost of these have increased from £36 to £45. The equivalent in US currency would be $68.

Choice Selections for Kate: Vol. 4

I found some warm yellow pieces that I think would look great on Kate.

Links of London Diamond Essentials Pave Round Stud Earrings- £195

It occurred to me as I watched Kate at the Festival of Remembrance this year, that she would look great in that black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with a pair of yellow gold and diamond studs. She already owns the cool-toned Grace studs, but she could use a set of diamond studs surrounded in warmer yellow gold. These are yellow gold vermeil.

Stephen Webster Plumage Cocktail Earstuds- Price Upon Request

Branching out a little from the basics, these Webster creations are 18k white gold with marquise cut green tourmaline, peridot and yellow sapphires, pear shape peridot and white diamond pav√©. I think they would be really fun for Kate. As studs, they won’t overwhelm her outfit and they would add a zip of color near her petite face.

Links of London Wimbledon 18ct Yellow Gold Vermeil & Diamond Racket Necklace- £250

Kate has attended Wimbledon every year since 2011. It would be adorable for her to wear this to her next tennis match viewing. It could also be suitable for other sports-related events such as the Olympics and SportsBall Gala (which Kate did attend in November 2013).

Monica Vinader Linear Diamond Toggle Chain Bracelet- £355

With the exception of her C Gold Charm Bracelet, I don’t think I’ve seen her wear too many simple gold bracelets. I love this one from Monica Vinader. It’s made of yellow gold vermeil and has a pave diamond toggle clasp. I can see her pairing it with so many different ensembles.

Azuni Solar Gemstone Pendant Necklace: Smoked Quartz-£36

I own this necklace in Garnet. I think the size of the pendant and the drop are just perfect for Kate’s usual day engagements at schools and centers. It’s in 24k gold plating. The smoked quartz stone color is just right for a necklace that should go with everything.

Garrard’s Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring

Cataloguing Kate’s jewelry collection wouldn’t be complete without a post about her engagement ring.

As many already know, Kate’s ring used to be belong to her late mother-in-law. In 1981, Lady Diana Spencer chose the stone “from a selection presented to her by the then Crown jewellers Garrard of Mayfair. It cost ¬£28,500 but, unusually for a choice by a member of the Royal Family, it was not unique and any member of the public could buy the same ring from the Garrard catalogue”. *

The ring was made by Garrard in London, and consists of one large oval Ceylon sapphire surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds. It is set in white gold.

Some reports state that the sapphire is 12 carats. However, Ayvee of Diana’s Jewels believes that it may be 9 carats.

Here it is on Kate:

The ring was thought to be priced at ¬£28,000 in 1981. Today, it’s deemed to be worth ¬£250,000 or more, placing it just at the $500,000 mark.

Large Gunmetal Gray Teardrop Earrings

UPDATE: Someone on Facebook suggested that these could be from Butler and Wilson.

For Kate’s 26th birthday, she went out clubbing in a white coat and these statement earrings.

Here is a closeup:

The earrings look like hematite in some ways, although this is probably not the material they are made of. The earrings are attached to an upside down tear drop crystal connected to a large gunmetal gray teardrop-shaped pendant. Looking at the shine of these, I wonder if this is made of some kind of PVC material.

If anyone can find out who makes these earrings, please let me know.

Here is a repliKate version from Max and Chloe.
