I never thought I would own the CZ by Kenneth Jay Lane Duchess Pave Pendant because the retail price is $169. I didn’t love the piece well enough to spend so much money on it.
I found a seller on Ebay who was selling it at a flat price of $45. I jumped at the chance to buy it.
For comparison, here is the M&W pendant.
It arrived in a black box with foam padding tucked inside.
Here is a closeup of the pendant:
The back of the pendant. You can somewhat make out the KJL logo on the back of the connector:
The differences between this one and the real necklace:
-A more obvious difference is that this one is made of cubic zirconias and silver, not white gold and diamonds.
-The pendant is 23mm in diameter. The M&W one is 15mm.
-The connection between the chain and pendant is made possible by a metal loop which is visible from the front. The M&W necklace positions the pendant between the two chains connecting it, making it appear as though the pendant is suspended between the chains.
I think it’s a good replica. It’s very accurate in terms of design but not size.
Kate debuted these gorgeous statement earrings in December 2014 during a short trip to NYC.
The original name for these was Silvertone Crystal Earrings. It looks like they have been renamed The Duchess Clover earrings.
According to KJL, these are set in rhodium plated brass and are 12 cttw. Those are cubic zirconias on the 2.75 inch earrings.
The earrings have a main pendant which is designed to look like a four leaf clover. The spaces between the “leaves” are filled in with a single cubic zirconia stud. Two tiny crystals connect a CZ stud (which acts as the post) to the rest of the earring. At the bottom, two similarly small crystals align downward and connect to a baguette shaped crystal, which in turn is connected to a small triangle-shaped, CZ encrusted ornament. The triangle-shaped ornament finishes off the earring. There is a baguette shaped crystal inside the triangle.
Here they are on Kate. She wore them to a private dinner engagement in NYC.
